The continued success of our rich and inclusive culture is the responsibility of our entire workforce, and we provide opportunities for our employees to lead the way. This month is LGBTQ Pride Month, and Equity will continue to support our employees and communities with Pride Walks throughout the month of June.

New this year are additional events to expand awareness, education, and hear directly from our employees. We are hosting Inclusive Conversations—a virtual presentation from local LGBTQ+ leaders and two virtual employee Listening Sessions, where our LGBTQ+ team members can share their experiences with the whole company.

We continue to embed diversity and inclusion in our policies, such as the release of Equity Residential’s Gender Transition Guidelines, designed to ensure the safety and comfort of our transgender and gender non-conforming employees.
